before the storm

Inspite the warnings of Meteorology Department that heavy rain, thunderbolts and even floodings are expected in Istanbul, we have decided to go to a small photo tour today to Heybeli Island, one of the Prince’s Islands of Istanbul. It didn’t rain much the whole day but the sky was full of dark clouds when we were returning. And the weather report said that the biggest storm in 10 years is expected for tomorrow. Of course it is not as big as Charley or something but some districts are easily get flooded because of the poor drainage systems there. This was taken during the return boat ride and the clouds say it all. She is a friend from our photo group.
